Chapter Eight

Murda was at the stove in the kitchen of one of his trap houses, cooking up nine ounces of that “Supafreak.”

“You good in here bro?” Money asked stepping beside the stove. It had been a minute since him, and Murda had to put in any real work, but it was the first of the month, and the fiends were on the prowl.

“Yeah my nigga, I’m straight.” Murda was working the hell out of his wrist. The magic he could produce with that, it was no wonder why they had raised to the top in no time.

“Aight, I’m ready to head back out on the block, and make shit happen. Here, I almost forgot.” Money handed Murda a knot of money wrapped in rubber bands.

“What’s this?” Murda asked.

“All the money we’ve made in the last two hours.”

Murda took the rubber band off and counted it out. It was only two in the morning, and already they had brought in over a ten thousand dollar profit. Murda hurried back over to the stove and put his wrist back to work. If the money was flowing like that, then he damn sure wasn’t about to miss out on it. It was going to be a long night for the both of them. Sharnese was spending the night with Destiny, so he knew she was in good hands. Plus he had Big Ben keeping a watch on the house. He had been told to shoot first and ask no questions if anything looked suspicious. Murda still had two birds to cook up before the morning traffic jam hit. He took a sip from his Red Bull hoping it would give him wings.

He focused hard on the task he was doing. He wasn’t trying to fuck up a batch by being careless. It was a lost he couldn’t afford to take. With the skills, he possessed in the kitchen it was impossible for him to mess up. He cooked up the remainder of the product in no time. By the time he was finished his wrist was literally on fire. The clock on the kitchen wall read five thirty. His body was beyond tired, but it was all a part of the lifestyle he chose. Unlike most niggas, he didn’t hustle just to buy cars, or to impress bitches. He did it to make sure his family was well taken care of if anything was to happen to him. With the stash, he had saved up, and the money is coming in from the real estate there was nothing in the world they would want for. At the age on twenty-seven he had, had a twelve year run in the game with no slip ups until now. He didn’t know what Natalie had up her sleeve, but ne needed to find out before it was too late. He wanted to sit down and have a civilized conversation with her, but he knew Sharnese would kill him if he had any type of contact with her.
